Click On Bill

Create your invoice quickly. The Click On Bill helps you because this software gives to you real invoice interface therefore what you see on your monitor what you get from printer. No surprises, no difficult data forms, just the invoice that will be printed. As in a text-editor while you get services those essentials in a billing system.

The Click On Bill contains partner management, product and service management, but you haven't to use these just if you want. When you have a client who order from you and you don't want to type its data every time, just save it to your partner's list and you can select it next time.

When you have a product or service that shipped again and again, record it then you can use it as a scheme next time. But you can edit every data on your invoice.

The Click On Bill is not a huge business system. This is an easy and small software for companies with one, two or free employees. This is not an industrial software to create many and many invoices. But if you want a software that can create invoice without a lot of administration, use this.

You must add vat types and payment methods, fill up a few data and the software is ready to use.

System requirements

• Operating system: Windows XP or Vista
• Installed Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
• An installed Microsoft SQL Server or SQL Express 2005 or higher
• A better video card
• A graphical printer

Important!

The Click On Bill is not a finalized software yet. You can download it, try it, but it contains some bugs, not implemented functions, and missing features those required. The current version is a Community Technology Preview to probe its possibilities. DON'T USE IT TO REAL TASKS YET! The final version will be released on this summer.

How to install?

Download the latest version. If you installed .NET 3.5 SP1 previously, the setup procedure will be faster, otherwise this installer will download and execute .NET 3.5 SP1 installer.

If you have installed Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express or Standard Edition you can run Click On Bill, otherwise you must install one of these database engines. Click here to get Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. Follow installation instructions.

Run Click On Bill. Because this is an experimental project the first run will start with a registration procedure. You haven't type any personal data, just click YES to continue. The application will increment a counter on our server.

In the next step you must create a database in installed or previously installed SQL Server. This procedure will be easier in latest version, because this procedure is understoodable for expert users only. Fill up data fields then click OK button.

Then you can set up VAT types, Payment methods your company data by last button on main window. Without these data the application will not allow accessing other panels.

Use the Click On Bill.

How to update previous version?

Uninstall the previous version of Click On Bill from by Add/Remove program icon of Control Panel. Download latest version then install it. No registration or database creation needed the previously installed database will work.

Known issues

• The entire address handling doesn't works correctly on partner data panel.
• The phone number handling has some minor bugs.
• Item definition panel (products and services) doesn't handle VAT combo correctly.
• Image handlind of data panels sometimes hides delete image button.
• On invoice editing panel doesn't handle click event therefore the item selector dropdown will not disappear in moving or zooming operation.
• The application doesn't check database accessibility while running. So when the database engine hangs or has been stopped the application will exit unexpectedly.
• Invoice copy or storno invoice not implemented yet.
• Number of printed copies is cannot be modified. The following versions can set this parameter. Currently the number of printed copies is three.
• The source and inheriting invoices don't appear on notes panel of invoice.
• The partner data panel doesn't contain linked invoices.
• The splash window is missing.
• No support texts on large buttons on main window.

Latest updates

• Vista registry handling problem has been fixed.
• The new version supports English language also.
• This version notifies about VAT or Payment methods aren't set and doesn't allow continue without these.
• EntityNotValidException has been resolved on client side at finalizing invoices.
